Contest Winners! | Waterford, NB Photographer

I’m getting caught up on blogging lately. This awesome family helped me raise $170 for the Canadian Cancer Society back in June. For every person who donated $10 to the CCS, they had a chance to win a portrait session with me. The Richardson family won! I went to college with the mother, so it was really nice to catch up and see why her journey into school took a long time! Waterford is such a beautiful place, and the home to some really friendly people. Thank you to the Richardson’s for your donation! Also, a big thanks to the other 16 generous people who helped raise the money for such a good cause.

Melissa + Sean | Saint John Wedding Photography

Oh the love! Melissa and Sean’s wedding day was full of joy, friends, family, and rain…..lots and lots of rain. We didn’t let that stop us from getting the shots though! Thank you to everyone involved for being so awesome! Melissa and Sean, you two were the sunshine – along with your adorable son. I hope you are enjoying your sweet honeymoon.

On another note, this wedding marks the last wedding for 2012. It was a really difficult decision for me to make, but it was a necessary one. I have decided to go back to school while working full time at the pulp mill. I will continue to take portraits of newborns, pregnancies, families and engagements on top of the few weddings I have already booked in 2013. Moving forward, I would like to focus mostly on newborns!

Have a happy day everyone!

Jay + Meg | Kingston, NB Engagement Session

Meagan + Jay are engaged and they are the cutest couple ever! Seriously though, if I gave out a “cutest couple ever” award, they would win first place. We headed to Kingston for their photo shoot. Jay’s family cottage is there and that’s where he brought Meg for their first date……romantic, I know! They walked along this very beach you see below. I love how apparent their love is for each other and Jay is such a gentleman, which is SO nice to see. I love these two:)

Scott + Katie | Kingston, NB Outdoor Wedding

After 8 years of dating, Scott and Katie got hitched!! I know this couple personally and they are PERFECT for each other. They are both so sweet and laid back. Their wedding was a dream….there were so many antique and hand made details that matched their personalities. The beach ceremony was intimate and just perfect. Camp Glenburn offered a cozy and unique spot to have a wedding and reception. I basically loved everything about it and I encourage all future brides to consider a spot like this for their own wedding….or at least incorporate the outdoors!

Thank you Scott and Katie for having me be a part of your day. It was an absolute pleasure, and I wish you both much happiness.

Here’s to love and wedding awesomeness:)
